European Puppet and Creative Arts Ministry Festival 27-28th October 2017

There’s a fantastic opportunity, for all, coming up in October, to learn and develop a new skill in a growing creative ministry. On Friday 27th and Saturday 28th October, the European Puppetry and Creative Ministry Festival takes place at Rugby College. This two day event is for everyone, adults and children, who want to learn how to share the Gospel of Christ using their creativity skills and offers over 80 workshops, including a huge range of basic and advanced puppetry techniques, storytelling, all-age services, scripts, school’s work, comedy, sound and lighting, drama, outreach, worship etc..

Special International guests include Shane Rootes and Bob Hartman, together with Maegan Bruce and Jared Hall.

The festival runs from lunchtime on the Friday, but we’re hoping to run a minibus from KMC, to the event, on the Saturday. It would be great to take along a group from KMC—all ages are very welcome and no previous experience or skills are required. We’d also like to encourage any teenagers who might be interested in developing skills in puppetry, technical stage production, drama or creativity within the Church, to come along.

More details about the festival can be found on

Puppetry provides a wonderful, engaging and accessible mechanism for Bible teaching and sharing the Gospel. It’s increasingly being used within worship as a visual tool for all ages. To be able to provide and utilise this form of creativity within ministry, worship and outreach at KMC would be incredibly exciting.

If you’re interested in any aspect of creative ministry, exploring the opportunities it provides for teaching, worship and outreach, please do prayerfully consider coming along and sharing in what should be a great day out.

Please speak to Peter Freeman for more details.
