Dear Friends,

When you read this, Lent will be over and Easter upon us, so Happy Easter to you.

This month our focus is on three outreach prayer initiatives. Please pray for them and about your possible participation.

In Your street

This is well underway now but there is still time to get involved. Prayer cards are available in the church foyer. Please take as many as you need.

Thy Kingdom Come -

Our Circuit

With our Church being right on one of Knutsford’s busy main streets, we are very well placed to take an active role in our town, and it is very appropriate that we should try to reach out, in the name of our Lord Jesus, to our local community.

But we are also part of a Circuit, and we are reminded of this at the start of each Sunday morning service when we light our Circuit candle, and pray for the other churches in our Circuit, the Alderley Edge and Knutsford Circuit.

Tuesday Afternoon Fellowship have enjoyed two more thoroughly enjoyable and enlightening meetings in April.

Our very own Jill Lee made a wonderful Flora MacDonald (complete with wig and full costume) as she recounted her life and the huge impact meeting Bonnie Prince Charlie had on the course of her life. A wonderful afternoon complete with white heather and shortbread with our tea! Thank you Jill you are a star!

We were delighted to welcome Canon Andrew White to our second meeting in the month and this was held in the main Church sanctuary.

Sadly, the’ Knutsford Open the Book’ Team said farewell to Jenny Mossman, who has been with the team since the beginning and led, as School Leader at Peover Superior Primary, since September 2015. We will miss her so much, but she says God is definitely leading her to continue with Open the Book in her new surroundings in the south .
