Tuesday Afternoon Fellowship
The Fellowship welcomes ladies and gentlemen from across Knutsford to our afternoon meetings and our speakers are chosen for their informative, entertaining and often humorous delivery.
Meetings conclude with refreshments and the opportunity to chat to one another.
Please join with us - you are very welcome and we would love to meet you.
No membership or obligation to attend meetings, just an open door and a warm welcome. We look forward to seeing you.
Tuesday Afternoon Fellowship enjoyed hugely informative and interesting talks in January, along with our trip to the Knutsford Little Theatre Pantomime to see Jack and the Beanstalk.
With 32 Fellowship and Church Family members attending together, our presence was certainly felt and a very happy evening was enjoyed by all.
Our particular thanks go to Christopher Templar for his exemplary driving skills with the community mini bus, which made this possible.
Our first meeting in February is on Tuesday 13th, when we hope to welcome Mr Roy Willis as he shares an illustrated talk on his trek through Northern Pakistan, with fabulous photographs and fascinating facts about this little-visited holiday destination!
As a consummate traveller, retirement has in no way abated his hunger for adventure and enthusiasm for travel.
On 27th February we will enjoy a talk entitled ‘Building a Lighthouse on the Bridgewater Canal’.
Mr Philip Austin is a keen local historian who reveals little known and often very humorous historical facts.
Why was it deemed necessary to build a Lighthouse on a canal and who decided it was a good idea and actually built it??
An accomplished speaker, Philip will entertain and enlighten us with this illustrated and interesting presentation.
Look out for a visit from Mr Bianchi Snr and Mr Bianchi Jnr from Arighi Bianchi on 13th March!
The Fellowship takes place every 2nd and 4th Tuesday in the month, beginning at 2.00pm. Details and dates will be included in Open Doors. For more details of future dates and speakers, please contact the Church Office.
