Christ is Risen! – He is Risen Indeed!      Happy Easter to you all.

As always, this has been a busy time for me and my team of helpers. In the half term holiday, at the end of February, we held our second Messy Church this calendar year. Again, it was held in the morning at 10:00am, the same time as we hold Jolly Tots in term time. We had thirty children which, with the parents, meant we cooked meals for around forty five people.

Dear Friends,

When you read this, Lent will be over and Easter upon us, so Happy Easter to you.

This month our focus is on three outreach prayer initiatives. Please pray for them and about your possible participation.

In Your street

This is well underway now but there is still time to get involved. Prayer cards are available in the church foyer. Please take as many as you need.

Our Circuit

With our Church being right on one of Knutsford’s busy main streets, we are very well placed to take an active role in our town, and it is very appropriate that we should try to reach out, in the name of our Lord Jesus, to our local community.

But we are also part of a Circuit, and we are reminded of this at the start of each Sunday morning service when we light our Circuit candle, and pray for the other churches in our Circuit, the Alderley Edge and Knutsford Circuit.

We have been blessed to enjoy two excellent meetings in March.

Mr Bianchi Snr - who is Chairman of Arighi Bianchi- visited us along with his son, Mr Nick Bianchi, and together they thoroughly entertained and amused us with recollections of their early family arriving in the UK and the ways in which the business overcame challenges to become the established premier retailers that it is today.

Everybody enjoyed the afternoon and with 50 attendees we were able to raise a good collection for their chosen charity of the East Cheshire Hospice.
