Welcome to the Young Adults of KMC
We're a banter loving, Jesus seeking, friendly bunch experiencing life together. We're a mixed group of singles, marrieds, students, professionals and everything else in between. We're aged roughly between 18 and 30 (though there are a couple of exceptions!).
Group leader: Sal.
We are an eclectic mix of ages that laugh a lot.
We take a light hearted look at various contemporary topics and biblical themes.
Group nights are the first and third Tuesday of the month but we meet outside these for social events, theatre trips etc.
The group experiences good fellowship and are very supportive to one another.
Always open for anyone to come and try us.
Group leaders: Steve and Jane
We meet fortnightly (every other Tuesday starting at 7.30pm) at Glebelands Rd. Knutsford.
Meet 7.30 for coffee. Meeting starts at 7.50. Prayer requests etc. from 9.00.
End around 9.30 - 9.45.
Normally the group is led by Sallie but others also lead occasionally.
The average age is between 40 and 70 and our numbers are between 8 and 10.
We alternate between bible study and dvd/video presentations, a lot sourced on YouTube. ie Joyce Meyer.
Group leader: Gill
Wednesdays 7.45-9.30 pm weekly
Our home group came together a couple of years ago due to the fact that we both wanted to attend and we still had our daughter at home. Since then a few others have joined and we have chosen to meet weekly 7.45-9.30 pm each Wednesday. Life happens, cancellations are inevitable but that's our intention at least!
Group leader: Scott
Venue - Knutsford Methodist Church Room 6
Time - 9.45-11 am term time
Size - 2-5 at present, has been larger in the past, we are seeking new members.
Suitability - Everybody is welcome. Parents/Grandparents can find it supportive as we also welcome children. There are no creche facilities. However over the last 6 years we have always managed to keep our children content or included (if they wish) during the session whilst adults have opportunity for connecting socially and spiritually with each other.
